Federico Varela is the founder and principal of Fare Design, bringing over 12 years of experience in creating stylish, functional, and sustainable living spaces that enhance property value and transform clients’ dreams into reality.

 

As the lead architect and project manager, Federico’s work is defined by meticulous attention to detail, delivering seamless and stress-free transformations. Whether overseeing home renovations or designing new spaces, Federico ensures each project reflects his clients’ unique visions and aspirations. His expertise spans consulting, design, and efficient project management, supported by a talented team of designers, drafters, and real estate agents who help turn concepts into homes.

 

Federico’s background includes a degree in Architecture and specialization in Heritage Management, with a career that spans multiple countries, including Argentina, Italy, Norway, and the Netherlands. He has led projects ranging from intimate interior renovations to large-scale urban developments, and his role as a Project Manager has allowed him to oversee the planning, design, and construction of homes, retail spaces, and offices with a focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.

 

In addition to his design work, Federico has taught at several universities and contributed to architectural research and publications. As a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), he is committed to the conservation and protection of cultural heritage, regularly participating in workshops and conferences on the topic.
